TestNav Delivery System
(use the same download to install or to upgrade TestNav) Version 6.4.015 now available
for downloading
Download the TestNav™ delivery system to each computer (Windows
or Macintosh) or a file server within your LAN/WAN environment.
This software is needed in order to take a test. Note: If you are upgrading, you do not need to uninstall
the existing version of TestNav, nor do you need to adjust your
proxy settings; installing this version over a previous version
of TestNav will carry over the existing settings to the upgraded
software installation.
TestNav 6.4.015 Mac Patch
(Only needed for users of Mac OS X versions 10.4.11 and higher. An auto-update will be sufficient enough for all other lower Mac versions) – Released 01/24/2008
This patch is only needed if no full-installation is desired.
Click “OK” in order to run the auto-update procedure.
Click on the “Download Patch” link.
Click on “Download” in the Dialog Box.
The Mac_OS_Patch Installer will be available on the Desktop.
Double-click on the Installer to run the Installation Program
Click on “Next” to proceed.
Choose your TestNav directory, if not already displayed by default.
Click “Install”.
Click “Done”.
The TestNav upgrade is complete.
Verify the TestNav Install
To verify that TestNav is installed correctly and can access your eMeasurement Services site, follow these steps:
Launch TestNav by double clicking on the TestNav shortcut icon on your desktop.
Enter this URL in the TestNav drop-down address field:
http://www9.etest.pearson.com/TXEOCT
Click the Go button. When the TestNav login screen appears, you have verified a successful installation.
• You can close the window by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner of the screen (on a Windows machine), or by clicking the red X in the upper-left corner of the screen (on a Mac).
